DESCRIPTION:SORRY ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED\nBlack Beauty Sprints\nThe Black Beauty Sprints are round two of the Victorian Hard Enduro Championships.\nLocation: Barwon Downs\nDate: Saturday and Sunday April 22/23\nSaturday Racing\nJunior Class A Format: Sprints (4 races)\nJunior Class B Race Format: 2 hour race\nBlack Beauty Sprints Prologue: All entered riders Gold, Silver and Bronze\nSpecial Test – King of the Otways Hill Climb: Not compulsory, optional extra event only open to Senior Black Beauty Sprints entrants. Must be raced with the same bike you ride in the Black Beauty Sprints.\nJunior (for Class A Juniors)\nThis race will be contested on the Bronze track over four sprints. The fastest accumulated race times (with your worst time eliminated) will decide the overall winners in each class. The event will be electronically timed with transponders.\nJunior (for Class B Juniors)\nThe Junior Class B will be contested over a 2 hour race. During the race the rider who completes the most laps in the two hours will be the winner. The race will be run over a different track to the Black Beauty Sprints track\nSunday Racing\nSenior Race Format: Sprints\nThe Black Beauty Sprints is round 2 of the 2023 Victorian Hard Enduro Championships. Please note you can enter this event without doing the entire Vic Hard Enduro Championships.\nThe Black Beauty Sprints is a hard enduro event with five race rounds on the same track. The fastest accumulated race times (with your worst time eliminated) will decide the overall winners in each class. The event will be electronically timed with transponders. Each race will have 5 riders set off at 30 second increments. More information about race structure will be sent with the final instructions prior to the event.\nA prologue will be held on the Saturday to ascertain the fastest riders to set the grid for riding the first round on the Sunday.\nClass Overview & Trophies\nSaturday Racing\nJunior A Class:  (Ride the Bronze Class track), First, Second and Third receive trophies\nJunior B Class: (12 to 15 years old): First, Second and Third receive trophies\nSeniors King of the Otways Hill Climb: First Prize $1000, Second Prize: $250 Third Prize: $100\nSunday Racing\nGold Class: First, Second and Third receive trophies\nGold Class (over 35): First, Second and Third receive trophies\nGold Class (over 45): First, Second and Third receive trophies\nSilver Class: First, Second and Third receive trophies\nSilver Class (over 35): First, Second and Third receive trophies\nSilver Class (over 45): First, Second and Third receive trophies\nBronze Class: First, Second and Third receive trophies\nBronze Class (over 35): First, Second and Third receive trophies\nBronzeClass (over 45): First, Second and Third receive trophies\nFemale Silver Class: First, Second and Third receive trophies\nFemale Bronze Class: First, Second and Third receive trophies\nJunior A Class: First, Second and Third receive trophies\nJunior B Class: First, Second and Third receive trophies\nPoints towards the Victorian Hard Enduro Championship will be awarded based on the overall results on the day.\nRace Entry Fee\nSenior Entry Fee (Sunday Sprints): $190\nSeniors King of the Otways Hill Climb: $50\nJunior Class A: $150 (racing on the seniors Bronze track)\nJunior Entry Fee: $130\nPlease note the entry fee includes the use of a disposable sticker transponder. We recommend you get this membership before you fill out the form (you will be asked for your Otway Enduro Club membership number on the online race entry form).
