Saturday Ride Information

Saturday Ride Information:

This Saturday ride will be based from just outside Bright (location shown on the map below). We’ll be eating on the road so you will need to bring your lunch with you.

Time: 8.30am am to 4.30pm ride (ride leaves at 8.30am)
Date: May 15th
Ride Difficulty: Intermediate (Excellent rear tyre required, there will be snow)
Bike Registration: Recreation Registration is allowed.
Fuel: BYO fuel
Lunch: BYO lunch will need to be carried in a backpack

Sunday Ride Information

Sunday Ride Information:

The Sunday will be a challenging ride for experienced riders only. This ride is suitable for enduro bikes only, good tyres are a must, this ride will be lead by a local who knows the best tracks in the Bright high country area. The ride will consist of a morning loop back to the starting spot for lunch and refuel, then a shorter afternoon loop so we can get back at a reasonable hour to depart for the journey home.

Time: 9.00 am to 3.30pm ride
Date: May 16th
Ride Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced (Excellent rear tyre required)
Bike Registration: Recreation Registration is allowed.
Fuel: BYO (refuel at lunch)
Lunch: BYO lunch, eaten between loop 1 and loop 2

CAMPING ACCOMMODATION

If you haven’t already booked your accommodation, a number of us are camping at Bright Accommodation Park, this is based about 5 kms out of Bright on the way to Freeburgh, you are welcome to join us by the camp fire. The cost is $25 per person per night.

RIDE START/FINISH

The location of the ride start for both days is at the Freeburgh Hall, it is opposite Rav’s house. Rav will be leading the ride on Sunday. The hall is opposite Acacia Court. There is ample parking or you can ride to the location from where you are staying.
