
Pony Express – November 13

The track will be a challenging enjoyable mix of hilly terrain, enduro-cross and single trail through blue gum plantation. If you competed in our previous Pony Expresses then the track will nearly be identical with a few extra obstacles added to the enduro-cross section. For the better riders each lap will take about 25 to 35 minutes.
This is an AMA Sanctioned Event, therefore you will require an AMA Membership to race. You can a membership by clicking on one of the orange buttons towards the bottom of this page.
Cost:
Seniors $100 Ironman | Senior Team: $200 | Juniors $50 per rider
Classes:
There will be prizes for first, second and third for each class.
Junior: (2 hour event) There are two Junior Classes.
- Class 1 (65 to 85cc 2-stroke & up to 150cc 4-stroke)
- Class 2 (86 to 200cc 2-stroke & 151 to 250cc 4-stroke)
Please note: The minimum age of the riders is 7 years old and the minimum engine size is 65cc. Junior riders will be riding a condensed version of the seniors track. Both junior classes will race together with the bigger bikes to head off first, the Junior race includes both boys and girls.
Seniors: (4 hour event) Teams of two with combined ages and Iron Man event
- Up to 49 year old (combined age both riders)
- 50 to 79 year old (combined age both riders)
- over 80 years old (combined age both riders)
- Iron Man
Information:
Must be an Otway Enduro Club member to race, day membership $20, yearly membership $50 to become a yearly member before the event please visit our Membership Page where you can fill out and pay for your membership and get a membership number, you’ll need to add this to the online entry form.
- One day Otway Enduro Club memberships are available.
- AMA Membership required for this event.
- Racing numbers will be supplied on the day.
- Catering available on the day.
- No onsite camping permitted, accommodation available in surrounding areas.
- No dogs allowed.
- No noisy bikes, a sound meter will be testing.
- Each bike will need to pass scrutineering.
Senior races are a team of two riders either sharing one bike or riding a bike each or you can compete by yourself as an ironman.
COVID Information:
This is a double vaccination event, you must be double vaccinated to enter. This is based on the current information provided by the State and Federal Government. If in the event the state of Victoria reaches 90% double vaccinated by the 24th of November, then this will change the event rules. What those changes will mean we are unsure.
Accommodation:
There is no camping on location for competitors, the closed caravan park is in Forrest about 15 minutes away.

Entries Close: 5pm Wednesday 9th November or when field capacity is full.

Getting an AMA Competitive Riding Membership
These are your AMA membership options:
$50.00 per person Solo Membership 12 months.
$100.00 per Family Membership 12 months (Family is considered to be those listed on your Medicare Card)
