FINAL INSTRUCTIONS

SaturdayTime/Schedule (Junior Ride)

Date: Sunday April 19th
Riders Briefing: 8.45am
Ride Start: 9.00am
Ride Finish: 3.00pm
Lunch: BBQ Lunch and drinks provided by the club.

Tracks: There are a number of tracks which will be available on the day, we have a short beginner track for the smallest bikes eg. PW50s, an intermediate track and for the more advanced junior riders we have a couple of much harder tracks which have some steep hills. Rest assured there is plenty of variety for all riders.

Fuel: Bring your own fuel

Noisy Mufflers: Suitable Muffler (No MX Mufflers) Noise level not to be too excessive (Noise testing may take place.)

Pay Now or Pay on the Day

There were a number of parents who had trouble using Ridernet (Ridernet does have its issues). You can pay on the day with cash or you can deposit the money in the club’s bank account directly.

Parent/Guardian Information

Safety and Protection
All junior riders must wear the following safety gear:

  • helmet
  • motorbike boots
  • gloves
  • goggles

It is recommended you also wear:

  • body armour
  • knee and elbow protection

Motorbike Maintenance
Please ensure your motorbikes have been checked before the ride day. These checks include:

  • Tyre pressure
  • Levers are in working order (not broken with sharp ends)
  • Brakes are in working order
  • Mufflers are not loud (please keep the baffles and spark arrestors in)
  • Tyres have enough tread to be ridden in muddy conditions
  • Throttle is not sticking

Rider safety is very high on our list, we want all riders to have a great time so it is important better riders are careful when riding near younger or less experienced riders.

CAMPING & RIDE START/FINISH

Private Property 255 Dunse Track, Penny Royal. When you enter the property a little distance down the driveway you will come to a fork in the road, drive down the right hand road until you see an clearing on the left. There may be round hay bales and other scrap metal laying around, this is the parking spot. This is a hilly property with little flat ground, when parking in this area be mindful we need to fit at least 25 cars and trailers. There is a area at the end of this road where you can turn around if you prefer to do that as an alternative to not reversing your trailer.
